Excellent benefits, hybrid working and exposure to senior stakeholders across the organisation.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technical finance professional to join a high-performing finance function in a broad and visible leadership role, managing core financial accounting operations across the UK business. Working closely with senior finance leadership, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring strong financial control, statutory compliance and continuous improvement across the finance function, whilst leading and developing an established transactional and financial accounting team.Key Responsibilities• Lead the financial accounting function including general ledger, AP, AR and cash flow activities• Manage and develop a finance team, driving performance and engagement• Ensure strong financial controls, balance sheet integrity and accurate statutory reporting• Oversee external audit processes and support tax compliance activities• Support working capital and cash flow management across the business• Partner with senior stakeholders across finance and operations• Drive process improvements and support wider finance transformation initiatives• Support investment appraisal and capital expenditure processesSkills & Experience• Fully qualified ACA / ACCA accountant• Strong technical accounting and statutory reporting experience• Previous team management and leadership experience is essential• Experience operating within a complex or multi-entity environment• Strong understanding of financial controls and governance• Confident communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders• Proactive, hands-on approach with strong organisational skillsThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly regarded business in a broad finance leadership role.For further information or a confidential discussion, please contact Elevation Recruitment Group.
