A leading commercial law firm is looking to appoint a Construction Litigation Associate with 4+ years' PQE to join its growing contentious construction team across Cardiff, Bristol or Swansea.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a genuinely progressive firm with a strong reputation for complex construction disputes, infrastructure projects and city-centre regeneration work. The team acts for developers, contractors, consultants, social housing providers, investors and public sector organisations on high-value and technically challenging matters across the UK.

The Opportunity

You will work closely with experienced partners and senior lawyers on a broad range of contentious construction matters, including:

• Adjudication, arbitration and mediation
\n
• Technology & Construction Court (TCC) litigation
\n
• Delay and disruption claims
\n
• Defects and payment disputes
\n
• Professional negligence claims
\n
• Contractual disputes under JCT, NEC, FIDIC and bespoke agreements
\n
• Risk management and project strategy advice
\n

About You

\n
• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
\n
• 4+ years' PQE in contentious construction law
\n
• Experience gained in a national, city or strong regional construction team
\n
• Strong knowledge of JCT, NEC and FIDIC contracts
\n
• Exposure to adjudication and TCC litigation
\n
• Commercially minded with a practical, solutions-focused approach to client service
\n
