Mobile Plant Fitter

Location: EastleighJob Type: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £38,000 - £45,000 per year (depending on experience)

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established company for an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled plant engineer to work on a varied fleet of construction equipment, carrying out maintenance, servicing, inspections, and repairs both in the workshop and at customer sites. A company van will be provided.

• Maintain, service and repair a large fleet of construction plant machinery.
\n
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults efficiently and safely.
\n
• Work on a wide range of equipment, including:\n
  \n
  • Excavators (800kg to 14 tonnes)
  \n
  • Tracked and wheeled dumpers (up to 9 tonnes)
  \n
  • Telehandlers
  \n
  • Rollers
  \n
  • Other construction plant machinery
  \n
\n
• Complete service records and inspection certificates accurately.
\n
• Ensure all equipment is maintained to a high standard and is safe for hire.
\n
• Carry out both workshop-based and mobile service work as required.
\n

The successful candidate will have:

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
\n
• The ability to diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently.
\n
• High-quality welding skills.
\n
• Previous experience working on construction plant machinery.
\n
• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
\n
• A proactive approach with strong attention to detail.
\n

• Salary of £38,000 - £45,000 per year, depending on experience.
\n
• Company van provided.
\n
• Full-time, permanent position.
\n
• Monday to Friday working hours: 7:00am - 5:00pm.
