HGV Class 2 Driver – Temp to Perm Opportunity

A&G Resourcing is recruiting on behalf of a well-established pallet network operator based in Reading for an experienced HGV Class 2 Multi-Drop Driver.

This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for a professional and reliable driver looking for regular weekday work with no weekend or bank holiday commitments.

The Role

\n
• Delivering palletised goods to private customer premises and local businesses
\n
• Multi-drop deliveries within the local area
\n
• Completing two delivery runs per day
\n
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and professionally
\n
• Completing all relevant delivery paperwork and vehicle checks
\n

Working Hours

\n
• Monday to Friday only
\n
• No weekends
\n
• No Bank Holidays
\n
• 8:00am start time
\n
• 10 hours guaranteed per shift
\n

Pay Rates

Temporary Period:

\n
• £17.00 per hour plus holiday pay
\n
• £19.00 per hour inclusive of holiday pay
\n

Permanent Position:

\n
• £17.50 per hour
\n
• 22 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
\n
• Bank Holidays paid
\n

Requirements

\n
• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
\n
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
\n
• Previous multi-drop experience
\n
• Pallet network experience is essential
\n
• Good customer service skills and a professional attitude
\n
