Interim Project Accountant

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Accountant to join a business undergoing an exciting finance transformation. This role will require the selected professional to be onsite in Leicester so please consider the location on application.

Key responsibilities:

• Support a major finance programme
\n
• Improve and map end-to-end finance processes
\n
• Lead finance testing and system validation
\n
• Work closely with Finance, IT and operational stakeholders
\n
• Strengthen financial controls and governance.
\n

We're looking for someone with:

• A broad accounting background (transactional finance through to GL)
\n
• Finance transformation, project or systems implementation experience
\n
• Strong process improvement and controls knowledge
\n
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large data sets
\n
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
\n

Salary

£350 - £380pd umbrella
