Interim Accountant

Reed Finance is recruiting an Interim Accountant to join our global client’s finance team, initially for a 6 month duration, however this could well be extended.

This role involves providing strong, compliant financial and reporting support to the organisation across both their UK and European entities. Our client are working on a hybrid basis and have plenty of parking on site.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Manage branch accounts for a European entity, including month-end and balance sheet control.
\n
• Handle AR, Credit Control and AP processing.
\n
• Budgeting and Forecasting.
\n
• Prepare and submit statutory returns.
\n
• Take ownership of the expenses process, including reviewing, challenging, processing and paying.
\n
• Design and test new processes required by new European E-Invoicing obligations.
\n
• Undertake other ad hoc projects as required.
\n

Required Skills & Qualifications:

\n
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a Finance/reporting role within a large organisation, ideally in a multi-currency environment.
\n
• A professional finance qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) would be highly advantageous.
\n
• Advanced experience in Microsoft Excel.
\n
• Experience in data management, database maintenance and reporting.
\n
