Lead Paediatric Nurse – Complex Care Location: Hybrid WorkingSalary: Up to £40,000 per annumJob Type: Full-Time, PermanentHours: 37.5 hours per week About the Role As the Lead Paediatric Nurse, you will provide clinical leadership and oversight for a caseload of children with complex medical needs, ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered safely and effectively. Working within a hybrid model, you will balance clinical, operational, and leadership responsibilities, supporting care teams, conducting assessments, developing care plans, and liaising with multidisciplinary professionals and family members. Key Responsibilities \n

- Lead and oversee the delivery of high-quality complex care services for children and young people. \n
- Conduct clinical assessments, reviews, and risk assessments. \n
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans. \n
- Provide clinical supervision, guidance, and training to care teams. \n
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding requirements, and clinical governance frameworks. \n
- Build strong relationships with families, healthcare professionals, commissioners, and external stakeholders. \n
- Participate in regular quality assurance audits and service improvement initiatives. \n
- Support with service development and contribute to the growth of the complex care division. \n

- Registered Nurse qualification (RGN or RCN) with active NMC registration. \n
- Significant paediatric nursing experience. \n
- Previous experience supporting children with complex healthcare needs. \n
- Competency and hands-on experience with: \n
- \n
- Tracheostomy care \n
- Ventilator management \n
- PEG feeding and enteral nutrition \n
\n - Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills. \n
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities. \n
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload. \n
