About the Role

\n

Working closely with the director, you’ll gain experience across a wide range of responsibilities including:

\n

Year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies

\n

Corporation tax and income tax computations

\n

Management accounts and business support

\n

Client advisory work

\n

Supporting clients with MTD for Income Tax

\n

Providing insight and analysis from year-end accounts

\n

You will have direct client contact and the opportunity to build strong relationships and take real ownership of your portfolio. It’s a varied role ideal for someone who enjoys seeing the full picture rather than being siloed into one area

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

Preparing and finalising accounts for a range of entity types

\n

Producing income tax and corporation tax computations

\n

Completing management accounts and analysis

\n

Supporting clients with digital record-keeping and MTD requirements

\n

Maintaining strong technical and compliance standards

\n

Using platforms such as Xero, QuickBooks, and IRIS

\n

\n

To be considered -

\n

Qualified / part qualified accountant with at least 2 years’ experience

\n

Strong knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks and ideally IRIS

\n

Confident producing accounts and tax computations independently

\n

Someone who enjoys responsibility and building client relationships

\n

High level of accuracy and attention to detail

\n

A proactive, motivated individual who enjoys continuous learning

\n
