Our client, a highly regarded and award-winning Thames Valley law firm, is seeking an ambitious Family Solicitor (2–4 PQE) to join its successful Family team in Reading.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a Chambers-ranked practice with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality family law advice. You will work alongside experienced Family lawyers, including a Partner, Senior Associate and support team, handling a varied and interesting caseload with exposure to complex domestic and international family law matters.

The Role

You will advise on a broad range of private family law matters, including:

• Divorce and separation matters
\n
• Financial remedy and matrimonial finance disputes
\n
• Complex financial settlements, including cases involving significant assets
\n
• Private children law matters, including child arrangements and welfare issues
\n
• Prenuptial, postnuptial and cohabitation agreements
\n
• International family law matters, including cases involving overseas assets and parties outside the UK
\n
• Cohabitation disputes, including TOLATA claims
\n
• Civil partnership matters
\n
• Injunction applications and protective orders
\n

You will have the opportunity to manage your own caseload, develop strong client relationships and play an active role in the continued success of the Family department.

About You

The successful candidate will be:

• A qualified Solicitor with 2–4 years’ PQE gained within Family Law
\n
• Experienced handling divorce, financial remedy and private children matters
\n
• Confident advising clients on sensitive and complex family issues
\n
• Commercially aware with excellent communication and client care skills
\n
• Motivated to develop their career within a highly regarded Family team
\n
