Job Description
Reed are currently recruiting for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join a busy and established Accountancy Practice on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who can hit the ground running and support the payroll team during a busy period. This is an office based role, 3 to 4 days a week and the temp duration is from 3-6 months. Key Responsibilities

- Processing weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls for a varied portfolio of clients. \n
- Calculating salaries, overtime, bonuses, commissions, statutory payments and deductions. \n
- Processing starters, leavers and changes to employee records. \n
- Managing SSP, SMP, SPP and other statutory payments. \n
- Submitting RTI reports to HMRC. \n
- Processing pension contributions and auto-enrolment requirements. \n
- Handling payroll queries from clients and employees. \n
- Maintaining accurate payroll records and ensuring compliance with current legislation. \n
- Assisting with payroll reconciliations and year-end payroll processes where required. \n
Requirements
\n- \n
- Previous payroll experience within an accountancy practice or bureau environment. \n
- Strong working knowledge of UK payroll legislation and HMRC regulations. \n
- Experience using payroll software such as Sage Payroll, BrightPay, Iris Payroll, Moneysoft or similar. \n
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. \n
- Strong communication and client-facing skills. \n
- Ability to manage multiple payrolls and work to strict deadlines. \n
- Available to start at short notice. \n
