The role combines strategic leadership, team development and hands-on fee earning work, offering genuine influence over the future direction of the department.The Role Private Client Solicitor to play a central role in leading and developing the Private Client Department, ensuring consistently high standards of client care, compliance and departmental performance. Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading, managing and developing the Private Client Department
\n
• Overseeing departmental performance, compliance and service delivery standards
\n
• Supervising and mentoring solicitors, a trainee solicitor and support staff
\n
• Managing a varied personal caseload including:\n

  • Wills
  \n
  • Probate and estate administration
  \n
  • Trusts
  \n
  • Lasting Powers of Attorney
  \n
  • Deputyship matters
  \n
\n
• Supporting business development and marketing initiatives
\n
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and professional obligations
\n

What We Are Looking For

• Private Client Solicitor with significant experience in private client law
\n
• Strong leadership and people management skills
\n
• Excellent technical expertise and client care standards
\n
• Commercial awareness with experience of working towards financial targets
\n
• STEP qualification (preferred) or willingness to work towards accreditation
\n
