JSS are exclusively partnering with a leading retail business in Watford to recruit an Accounts Payable & Receivables Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead both the AP and AR functions, managing a finance team while ensuring strong cash flow, accurate financial processing, and excellent customer and supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams.
\n
• Oversee supplier payments, invoice processing, reconciliations, and payment runs.
\n
• Manage customer collections, cash allocation, aged debt, and account reconciliations.
\n
• Monitor working capital, cash flow, and AR/AP performance.
\n
• Support month-end activities, balance sheet reconciliations, and audit requirements.
\n
• Drive process improvements, automation, and strong financial controls.
\n
• Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve queries and improve processes.
\n

About You

\n
• 5+ years' accounting experience with exposure to both AP and AR.
\n
• Previous experience managing finance teams.
\n
• Strong accounting knowledge and financial controls experience.
\n
• Experience with ERP systems such as Sage, SAP, Dynamics, or NetSuite.
\n
• Retail or wholesale sector experience is advantageous.
\n
