Audit & Accounts Senior

Reed Practice is recruiting for an Audit & Accounts Senior on behalf of a well-established and growing accountancy firm based in Romsey. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant seeking a varied role across audit and accounts within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

The Role

As an Audit & Accounts Senior, you will:

• Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion for a diverse portfolio of clients
\n
• Prepare and review statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
\n
• Assist with corporation tax computations and VAT returns
\n
• Supervise and mentor junior staff, reviewing their work and supporting their development
\n
• Liaise directly with clients to manage expectations and deliver high-quality service
\n
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards
\n
• Work closely with managers and partners to support client retention and business growth
\n

About You

You are ACA or ACCA qualified and:

\n
• Have strong experience in both audit and accounts within a UK accountancy practice
\n
• Possess excellent technical knowledge of financial reporting and auditing standards
\n
• Are confident managing client relationships and leading assignments
\n
• Have strong organisational and time management skills
\n
• Are proficient in accounting and audit software (e.g., CaseWare, Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Office
\n
• Thrive in a collaborative and professional team environment
\n
