About the Role

\n


\n

As Registered Care Manager, you'll be responsible for the leadership, quality and day-to-day management of our Care at Home service.

\n


\n

Working closely with the Directors, you'll ensure outstanding person-centred care, maintain full regulatory compliance and support the sustainable growth of the business.

\n


\n

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading teams, improving quality, developing people and building strong relationships within the local health and social care community.

\n


\n


\n

Your Responsibilities

\n


\n
    \n
  • Lead the day-to-day operation of our Care at Home service.
  • \n
  • Act as the main contact for the Care Inspectorate, including inspections, notifications and service improvements.
  • \n
  • Ensure compliance with Scottish legislation and Health and Social Care Standards.
  • \n
  • Recruit, mentor and develop a high-performing care team.
  • \n
  • Conduct supervisions, appraisals and competency assessments.
  • \n
  • Oversee assessments, support plans, risk assessments and care reviews.
  • \n
  • Manage staffing, rotas and operational performance.
  • \n
  • Build excellent relationships with service users, families, Health & Social Care Partnerships (HSCPs), GPs and other professionals.
  • \n
  • Support business growth by developing new referral opportunities and promoting Continuity Care Scotland within the local community.
  • \n
  • Lead investigations relating to safeguarding, complaints and incidents.
  • \n
  • Drive continuous improvement through audits, quality assurance and staff development.
  • \n

Essential Requirements

\n


\n

We're looking for someone who has:

\n
    \n
  • Previous experience as a Registered Care Manager, Care Manager or experienced Deputy Manager within a Care at Home or domiciliary care service.
  • \n
  • Strong understanding of Care Inspectorate requirements and Scottish care legislation.
  • \n
  • SSSC registration (or eligibility to register).
  • \n
  • Relevant leadership qualification (SVQ Level 4 in Health & Social Care and Leadership & Management at SCQF Level 10 or equivalent, or willingness to work towards it).
  • \n
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
  • \n
  • Experience managing teams, compliance and service quality.
  • \n
  • Commercial awareness and an interest in supporting business growth.
  • \n
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred).
  • \n
