Cleaner

Your new companyHays Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Cleaner to join a busy social housing contract in Crewe on a temporary basis until September.

This role will involve cleaning and maintaining the communal areas of occupied 2 and 3-storey apartment blocks, ensuring all buildings are kept clean, safe and presentable for residents.

Your new role

\n
• Cleaning communal hallways, stairwells and entrance areas
\n
• Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming communal spaces
\n
• Cleaning internal windows, doors and handrails
\n
• Removing litter from communal areas
\n
• Sanitising touch points and high-traffic areas
\n
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly
\n
• Reporting any maintenance issues or health and safety concerns
\n
• Ensuring all cleaning duties are completed to a high standard
\n

What you'll need to succeed

\n
• Previous cleaning experience, ideally within social housing, residential or commercial environments
\n
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
\n
• Good attention to detail
\n
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
\n
