Job title: Receptionist Salary: £27,000 Location: Derby Hours: Mon-Thurs 08.00-17.00 Fri- 08.00-13.00 Job Description AMLR are seeking a professional, organised, and customer-focused Receptionist to join an aerospace manufacturing team. As the first point of contact for visitors, customers, suppliers, and employees, you will provide a welcoming and efficient front-of-house service while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the office. Key Responsibilities for Receptionist role: · Welcome visitors, customers, contractors, and suppliers in a professional manner. · Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls and emails. · Manage visitor sign-in procedures and ensure compliance with company security and health & safety requirements. · Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and courier deliveries. · Arrange outgoing post and courier collections. · Provide general administrative support, including filing, data entry, document preparation, and scanning. · Order and maintain office supplies and refreshments. · Support various departments with administrative tasks and projects. · Maintain a tidy, professional reception and communal office environment. · Ensure confidential information is handled appropriately and in accordance with company policies. Skills & Experience for Receptionist role: · Previous experience in a receptionist, front-of-house, or administrative role. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Strong organisational and time management abilities. · Professional and friendly manner with excellent customer service skills. · Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams). · Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a busy environment. · High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
