Electrical Foreperson Bradford | Permanent Role | No Working Away | Early Finish Fridays Lead from the Front - Stay on the Tools! We are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Foreperson to join a busy manufacturing and workshop environment in Bradford. This is an ideal opportunity for a qualified electrician who enjoys taking responsibility for a small team while remaining fully hands-on with industrial and commercial installation work. You'll spend the majority of your time on the tools, leading by example, coordinating daily activities and ensuring high standards of workmanship and safety are maintained throughout the workshop. Your duties will include: Leading a small team of electricians and electrical fitters on the shop floor Allocating daily work and ensuring jobs are completed safely and efficiently Working hands-on with electrical installations within a manufacturing and workshop environment Reading and interpreting electrical, engineering and cable block diagrams Installing cable containment systems including conduit, trunking, basket, tray and cable ladders Running, pulling and terminating SWA armoured cables Installing cable glands, cable markers and identification systems Glanding and wiring control panels and associated equipment Carrying out 1st and 2nd fix electrical installation work Conducting dead testing, continuity checks, earthing and bonding Assisting with fault finding, testing and commissioning activities Supporting quality inspections and ensuring installations meet specification Ensuring Health & Safety procedures, PPE requirements and safe working practices are followed Liaising with production, design and project teams to resolve installation issues Maintaining a clean, organised and productive workshop environment Completing basic installation records and red-line drawing mark-ups where required What We're Looking For NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation AM2 Qualification 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Previous experience as an Electrical Foreman, Chargehand, Lead Electrician or Senior Installation Electrician Strong industrial, manufacturing or commercial installation experience Confidence leading small teams while remaining fully hands-on Experience with containment systems, stainless conduit, basket and tray work Proven experience running, glanding and terminating SWA cables Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics Good communication and organisational skills Strong focus on quality, safety and workmanship Desirable Inspection & Testing (2391) NICEIC knowledge AutoCAD or Vault exposure Previous manufacturing or workshop-based experience What's on Offer 1.5x after 39 hours 1.5x Saturday mornings 2x Saturday afternoons and Sundays Company pension Training and development opportunities Early finish every Friday Easily commutable from Bradford, Halifax, Shipley, Keighley and Leeds Interested?
