Location: Hatfield - hybridContract: 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract (Family Leave Cover) with potential to become permanent

About the Role

\n

We are seeking an analytical and intellectually curious Regional Pricing Analyst to join our EMEA Pricing team within Finance on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover a period of family leave, with the potential for the role to become permanent.

\n

In this role, you will support the development, implementation, and governance of regional pricing strategies by delivering high-quality analysis and actionable insights. You will contribute to key pricing decisions throughout the product lifecycle, including launch planning, tender strategy, international reference pricing (IRP), cross-border trade monitoring, and loss of exclusivity (LOE) planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of pricing strategies for public tenders across EMEA markets.
  • \n
  • Contribute to pricing governance processes, ensuring compliance with internal policies, controls, and approval frameworks.
  • \n
  • Monitor and analyse the impact of International Reference Pricing (IRP) across multiple markets.
  • \n
  • Support launch pricing assessments for new products and indications.
  • \n
  • Assist with lifecycle pricing activities, including loss of exclusivity (LOE) planning and price erosion analysis.
  • \n
  • Monitor cross-border and parallel trade dynamics, identifying pricing risks and commercial opportunities.
  • \n
  • Build, maintain, and enhance pricing models, dashboards, and analytical tools.
  • \n
  • Prepare pricing analyses, recommendations, and presentations to support regional decision-making.
  • \n
  • Partner with Finance, Market Access, and Commercial teams on ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives.
  • \n
  • Ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency of pricing data and reporting.
  • \n

Essential Requirements

    \n
  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • \n
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • \n
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to work confidently with large datasets.
  • \n
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • \n
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • \n
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • \n
  • Proactive, inquisitive, and eager to learn.
  • \n

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience using VBA, Power BI, R, or R Studio.
  • \n
  • Experience in pricing, analytics, finance, commercial, or market access functions.
  • \n
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical pricing concepts, including tenders, IRP, or market access, would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • \n
