\nAccounts Payable
\n- \n
- Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner. \n
- Prepare and process weekly and monthly payment runs. \n
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies. \n
- Respond to supplier queries and maintain strong supplier relationships. \n
- Ensure invoices are appropriately authorised and coded. \n
Accounts Receivable
\n- \n
- Raise sales invoices and credit notes. \n
- Monitor customer accounts and chase outstanding payments. \n
- Allocate incoming receipts and reconcile customer accounts. \n
- Resolve customer queries relating to invoices and payments. \n
- Support credit control activities to minimise aged debt. \n
Month-End & Financial Accounting

- Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts. \n
- Prepare and post journals, including accruals, prepayments and other month-end adjustments. \n
- Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations. \n
- Assist with maintaining fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules. \n
- Support the completion of month-end close activities within agreed deadlines. \n
- Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies and variances. \n
Financial Reporting & Administration

- Assist with budget and forecast preparation. \n
- Produce financial reports and analysis as required. \n
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation. \n
- Support year-end audit requirements and provide supporting information. \n
Profile
Essential Experience\n- \n
- Previous experience in an Assistant Management Accountant, Assistant Accountant, Management Accounts Assistant or similar role. \n
- Strong hands-on month-end accounting experience. \n
- Experience preparing accruals, prepayments, journals and reconciliations. \n
- Experience producing or assisting with monthly management accounts. \n
- Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP. \n
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. \n
Job Offer
