About the RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lead Project Manufacturing Engineer to lead the delivery of manufacturing projects across New Product Introduction (NPI), sustaining engineering, Engineer-to-Order (ETO), and distributed manufacturing.Leading a team of Project Manufacturing Engineers, you'll ensure manufacturing solutions are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time while driving Manufacturing Readiness, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across the business.Key Responsibilities\n

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Project Manufacturing Engineers.
\n
• Manage the manufacturing project portfolio, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
\n
• Own and improve the Manufacturing Readiness Review (MRR) process.
\n
• Identify and mitigate manufacturing risks before products enter production.
\n
• Work closely with Design Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Project teams to deliver successful manufacturing solutions.
\n
• Drive Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives across the department.
\n
• Develop team processes, documentation, KPIs, and visual management systems.
\n
• Manage project expenditure and support governance and audit activities.
\n

About YouWe're looking for an experienced Manufacturing or Project Engineering leader with a strong background in delivering engineering projects within a manufacturing environment.You'll ideally have:\n

\n
• Proven experience leading manufacturing engineering or project engineering teams.
\n
• Experience delivering NPI, sustaining engineering, ETO, or manufacturing improvement projects.
\n
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, industrialisation, and production readiness.
\n
• Experience managing KPIs, business plans, and engineering resources.
\n
• Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing tools such as Kaizen, Standard Work, PFMEA, Value Stream Mapping, 6S, and TPM.
\n
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic assemblies.
\n
• Experience using ERP systems and engineering documentation.
\n
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
\n
• A proactive approach with a passion for developing people and driving continuous improvement.
\n
