Vulnerable Client Lawyer (Solicitor or CILEX) - Canterbury | Hybrid Working | Excellent Career Opportunity Are you a Private Client professional looking to specialise in a highly rewarding area of law? With increasing demand, strong staff retention and a supportive culture, this role offers the chance to develop a specialist skillset while working alongside recognised experts in the field.About the role The successful Vulnerable Client Lawyer will work on a varied caseload, supporting vulnerable individuals and their families through often complex legal matters. The role offers a balance of office-based work, hybrid working and client visits. Key responsibilities include:\n

• Court of Protection work across varying levels of complexity
\n
• Advising clients on care fee funding and NHS Continuing Healthcare claims
\n
• Preparing wills, including complex wills and Advance Directives
\n
• Advising on Lasting Powers of Attorney
\n
• Building trusted, long-term relationships with clients and families
\n
• Working closely with a highly experienced and supportive specialist team
\n
• Visiting clients, care homes and external locations where required
\n

What we are looking for The ideal Vulnerable Client Lawyer will have:\n

• Qualified Solicitor or CILEX status
\n
• Approximately 3+ years' relevant legal experience (some flexibility)
\n
• Experience within Private Client, Court of Protection, LPAs or related areas
\n
• The ability to manage matters with minimal supervision
\n
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
\n
• A compassionate and professional approach
\n
• A genuine interest in developing expertise within vulnerable client work
\n
