Wakefield Description: An excellent opportunity for a motivated Junior Project Manager, looking to play a key role in the successful delivery of exciting projects while developing their career within a supportive and forward thinking environment.The Role

• Lead the delivery of small to medium-sized business change projects from initiation through to completion.
\n
• Support the Change Manager in delivering larger strategic transformation programmes.
\n
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines and milestones.
\n
• Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks, issues and dependencies.
\n
• Maintain accurate project documentation.
\n
• Produce weekly project status reports.
\n
• Update project dashboards.
\n
• Track budgets where required.
\n
• Tracking improvement requests
\n
• Prioritising activities with stakeholders
\n
• Monitoring delivery progress
\n
• Ensuring changes are documented
\n
• Measuring benefits realised
\n
• Produce clear project documentation including business cases, status reports, RAID logs and implementation plans.
\n
• Ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed governance and project management standards.
\n

Person:

\n
• Knowledge of project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 or Agile
\n
• Ability to build effective working relationships across the business.
\n
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn.
\n
• Previous experience coordinating projects or delivering business initiatives.
\n
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
\n
• Strong attention to detail.
\n
• Good problem-solving skills.
\n
• Confident using Microsoft 365, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
\n
