Junior Remote Support Engineer (Electro-Mechanical) Watford, Hertfordshire (Office Based – Monday to Friday) Salary: Up to £47,000 + Benefits

\nOur client is investing heavily in the growth of its UK engineering operation and is looking for several Junior Remote Support Engineers to join a newly created technical support team based at its Watford Head Office.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for engineers with a solid mechanical and electrical background who are looking to develop their careers within a highly technical environment supporting sophisticated automated equipment.
\nYou’ll receive ongoing training and work alongside experienced engineers while developing your skills across mechanical, electrical and software diagnostics.
\nThe Role
\nYou’ll provide first and second-line technical support to engineers working in the field, assisting with diagnostics, troubleshooting and technical problem resolution.
\nResponsibilities include:
\nSupporting field engineers with technical fault diagnosis
\nInvestigating mechanical, electrical and software issues
\nAssisting with remote troubleshooting and machine diagnostics
\nEscalating more complex technical issues where appropriate
\nLogging technical information accurately
\nWorking closely with engineering and operations teams
\nContinuously developing your product and technical knowledge
\nAbout You
\nYou’ll be an enthusiastic engineer who enjoys solving problems and learning new technology.
\nYou’ll ideally have:
\nMechanical engineering knowledge
\nElectrical fault-finding skills
\nBasic understanding of IT systems and software
\nStrong communication skills
\nAnalytical and logical thinking
\nA positive, team-focused attitude
\nDesire to build a long-term engineering career
