HGV Painter

Xpert Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of one of the UK's largest exporters of second-hand trucks, who are looking to add a HGV Painter to their busy and growing Stoke-on-Trent operation. £12.71 - £14.00 per hour | Mon-Fri, 8:00am-5:30pm (42.5 hours)The Role:As a key part of the workshop team, you'll be responsible for ensuring all vehicles are prepared and finished to a high standard before export. You'll work collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily and weekly targets while maintaining quality and efficiency.Your Responsibilities Will Include:\n

• Preparing commercial vehicles, including trucks and trailers, for paint
\n
• Spray painting and finishing vehicles to a high standard
\n
• Carrying out paint repairs in line with customer specifications
\n
• Inspecting your work to ensure a consistent, high-quality finish
\n
• Working efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines
\n
• Following all health & safety procedures
\n

Skills & Experience:\n

\n
• Previous experience in HGV, automotive, or industrial painting
\n
• Experience using spray guns and knowledge of painting techniques
\n
• Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
\n
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
