Conveyancing Paralegal

GMP Recruitment Agency Limited are proud to be partnered with a specialist property law expert located in Hereford. We are supporting their recruitment for a Paralegal to join their team on a full time, permanent contract.

This position is working Monday – Friday 09:00am – 17:00pm and can offer an immediate start.

Ideally, candidates will demonstrate at least 6-12 months in a similar role with an understanding of conveyancing processes.

Main Duties:

\n
• Supporting solicitors and conveyancers on residential property transactions.
\n
• Opening files and completing client onboarding, including ID and AML checks.
\n
• Preparing contract packs and requesting searches.
\n
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other solicitors.
\n
• Drafting standard legal documents and correspondence.
\n
• Assisting with exchange and completion.
\n
• Preparing SDLT returns and Land Registry applications.
\n
• Maintaining accurate electronic and paper files.
\n
• Ensuring compliance with SRA and Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) requirements.
\n

Essential Skills:

\n
• Previous residential conveyancing experience (typically 1+ years).
\n
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
\n
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and case management systems.
\n
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple transactions.
\n
