United Utilities delivers essential water services to homes and businesses across the Northwest and are looking for proactive, organised and customer-focused individuals to join their team as a People Services Administrator at their Lingley Mere site in Warrington.

About The Role

\n

As a People Services Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting employees and managers across the business. Acting as the first point of contact for HR-related queries, you'll provide administrative support throughout the employee lifecycle, maintain accurate employee records, prepare documentation, and help deliver a high-quality service within the People function. Previous HR or People Services experience would be beneficial but is not essential. We welcome applications from candidates with strong administration experience who are looking to develop a career within HR and People Services.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Responding promptly and professionally to employee and manager queries, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • \n
  • Maintaining and updating employee records and HR systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • \n
  • Preparing contracts, letters, reports, and other documentation across the employee lifecycle.
  • \n
  • Supporting key people processes including absence management, performance review coordination, and reward administration.
  • \n
  • Generating and managing reports to support decision-making, compliance, and operational requirements.
  • \n
  • Collaborating with HR Advisors and stakeholders across the business to deliver an efficient and effective People service.
  • \n

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • \n
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when handling records, documentation, and data.
  • \n
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and confidence working with systems and databases.
  • \n
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional and customer-focused approach.
  • \n
  • Ability to prioritise workload, manage time effectively, and work proactively in a fast-paced environment.
  • \n

What You Need to Know

  • Hourly Rate- £15.64 PAYE, paid weekly one week in arrears
  • \n
  • Location: Lingley Mere Business Park, Great Sankey, Warrington, WA5 3LP (on site full-time)
  • \n
  • Start date: ASAP
  • \n
  • Assignment type: 3-month Temporary Contract through Reed Talent Solutions, as United Utilities trusted recruitment partner.
  • \n
