  • Working Hours: 9am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday - Up to 45K.

Join our team as an HR Advisor, where you will play a crucial role in managing employee relations and enhancing our HR practices. This position is based in our Peterborough office with occasional travel to our Head Office in London. You will be instrumental in providing expert advice and support across all departments, ensuring alignment with company policies and employment law.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Advise, guide, and coach line managers on employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, and more across all locations.
  • \n
  • Manage cases effectively relating to various HR matters such as flexible working, redundancies, and occupational health referrals.
  • \n
  • Provide expert advice to ensure consistency with company policies and legal standards.
  • \n
  • Support recruitment needs and manage the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.
  • \n
  • Develop and deliver training workshops to enhance managerial capabilities in people management.
  • \n
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and seek out proactive HR initiatives.
  • \n
  • Build and maintain effective relationships across the organisation to promote good employee relations.
  • \n
  • Continuously seek improvements in HR practices to add maximum value to the organisation.
  • \n

Required Skills & Qualifications:

\n
    \n
  • Proven experience managing employee relations cases independently.
  • \n
  • Strong ability to support, coach, and influence managers across various departments.
  • \n
  • Experience in an HR advisory role within a busy HR department.
  • \n
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels within the business.
  • \n
  • A commitment to continuous improvement in HR and employment law knowledge.
  • \n
  • Data-driven approach with strong analytical skills for managing ER cases and reporting key metrics.
  • \n
  • Ability and willingness to travel between office locations as required.
  • \n
\n

Desirable:

\n
    \n
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience.
  • \n
  • Experience within an HR shared services function.
  • \n
  • Background in a Contact Centre or similar fast-paced environment.
  • \n
  • Experience delivering people management training workshops.
  • \n
\n
