\nAre you an experienced accountancy practice professional looking for a role where you'll enjoy greater autonomy, build long-term client relationships and play a key role within a growing firm?
\nWe're working with a successful and expanding firm of Chartered Accountants in London and Kent that is looking to appoint a Client Manager to join its established team. This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys working closely with business owners whilst supporting and developing a team of accountants.
\nWith a varied client base spanning SMEs, owner-managed businesses and growing companies, you'll have the opportunity to become a trusted adviser whilst continuing to develop your own career.
\nThe Opportunity
\nWorking alongside the Partners, you'll take ownership of a diverse portfolio, ensuring clients receive a high standard of service while supporting the continued growth of the practice.
\nThis is a hands-on position offering a combination of portfolio management, team leadership and advisory work, with excellent prospects for future progression.
\nYour Responsibilities
\nYou'll be responsible for:

- Managing your own portfolio of clients across a broad range of industries. \n
- Reviewing accounts, tax compliance work and financial statements before submission. \n
- Providing practical accounting and taxation advice to business owners. \n
- Developing strong, long-term relationships with clients and becoming their first point of contact. \n
- Supporting and mentoring junior and part-qualified members of the team. \n
- Monitoring workflow to ensure assignments are completed accurately and on schedule. \n
- Working alongside Partners on advisory projects and opportunities to enhance client service. \n
- Identifying ways to improve internal processes and deliver an outstanding client experience. \n
About You
\nYou'll ideally be ACA or ACCA qualified with previous experience gained within a UK accountancy practice.
\nYou'll have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills and experience managing client relationships within a professional practice environment.
\nThe successful candidate will be organised, commercially aware and confident working with a varied client portfolio whilst supporting colleagues and maintaining high service standards.
