Class 1 HGV Driver – Burton-on-Trent

24-7 Recruitment Services are recruiting Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers on behalf of our well-established client based in Burton-on-Trent. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers looking for regular work, competitive pay, and ongoing assignments.

Successful candidates will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A full UK Category C+E (Class 1) driving licence

• A valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
\n
• A minimum of 1 year's Class 1 driving experience (essential)
\n
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
\n
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
\n

The Role

\n
• Ongoing temporary work with long-term opportunities
\n
• Trunking work only
\n
• 1–2 deliveries and 1 collection per shift
\n
• No manual handling
\n
• Minimum 8 hours guaranteed per shift
\n
• Regular day and night shifts available
\n

Start Times

\n
• Days: 05:00 – 13:00
\n
• Nights: 15:00 – 20:00
\n

Shift Patterns

\n
• Monday to Friday – Day shifts
\n
• Sunday to Thursday – Night shifts
\n
• Weekend shifts available
\n

Pay Rates

Monday–Friday Days: £16.87 per hour

Monday–Friday Nights: £18.10 per hour

Weekend AM: £21.09 per hour

Weekend PM: £22.63 per hour
