We're partnering with a leading international organisation seeking an Employee Relations Advisor to join its HR team in London.This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with HR Business Partners, managers, and stakeholders across the business, providing expert ER guidance while supporting a broad range of employee relations matters. You'll gain exposure to complex casework, policy development, employment legislation, organisational change initiatives, and strategic ER projects.What You'll Be DoingAs Employee Relations Advisor, you will:

  • Provide expert employee relations advice and guidance to managers, HR colleagues, and key stakeholders.
  • \n
  • Support a wide range of ER casework, including grievances, disciplinary matters, investigations, appeals, absence management, performance concerns, and organisational change processes.
  • \n
  • Assist with the preparation of documentation for formal hearings, meetings, and appeal processes.
  • \n
  • Support the management of complex employee relations issues, including employment tribunal-related activity where required.
  • \n
  • Partner with internal stakeholders, including Legal and Data teams, on Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs).
  • \n
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and employee guidance materials.
  • \n
  • Support the delivery of employee relations training for managers and HR teams.
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate ER data, reporting, and management information to support decision-making.
  • \n
  • Build strong relationships with managers, helping them navigate employee issues confidently and consistently.
  • \n

What We're Looking ForTo be successful in this role, you'll bring:

\n
    \n
  • 3-5 years' employee relations advisory experience within a UK employment law environment, in financial services where you will be used to working on financial regulations.
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • \n
  • Experience managing a broad range of ER cases from initial concern through to resolution.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • \n
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • \n
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • \n
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
  • \n
  • Experience using HR systems and working with employee data and reporting.
  • \n
  • Degree educated or equivalent experience.
  • \n
  • CIPD qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • \n
  • Previous experience within a regulated or corporate environment would be advantageous.
  • \n
