Solar Project Manager West Yorkshire | £55,000 - £65,000 + Car Allowance + Excellent Package Are you an experienced Solar Project Manager looking to join a well-established national contractor with a growing pipeline of commercial renewable energy projects? We’re recruiting on behalf of a highly respected building services contractor delivering commercial solar installations for clients across the UK. Due to continued growth, they’re looking to appoint an experienced Solar Project Manager to join their West Yorkshire team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, financially secure business with the resources, technical support and client base to deliver substantial commercial solar projects nationwide. The Role You’ll take responsibility for the delivery of commercial solar PV projects from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover, ensuring each scheme is completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the required technical standards. The position offers a genuine mix of site, home and office working. Projects are located throughout the UK, so national travel will be required, although hybrid working is available when you are not needed on site. Typical projects will include: * Commercial rooftop solar PV installations * Industrial and warehouse developments * Distribution and logistics facilities * Multi-site solar programmes * Solar installations for major commercial property owners and occupiers You’ll Be Responsible For * Managing commercial solar projects from contract award through to completion * Coordinating design, procurement, installation and commissioning activities * Managing subcontractors, suppliers and site teams * Producing and maintaining project programmes * Monitoring costs, variations and commercial performance * Liaising with clients, consultants and internal technical teams * Ensuring compliance with health and safety, quality and technical standards * Managing project handover, documentation and client sign-off We’re Looking For * Project management experience within commercial solar, electrical contracting or building services * A strong understanding of solar PV installations and electrical systems * Experience managing projects from pre-construction through to handover * Strong commercial, organisational and client-facing skills * The ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and live projects * Willingness to travel nationally when required * Full UK driving licence Salary & Package * £55,000 - £65,000 * Company car or car allowance * Pension * Private healthcare * Annual bonus where applicable * Hybrid working * Excellent long-term career prospects with a growing national contractor If you’re an experienced Solar Project Manager looking to join a successful contractor with a strong pipeline of commercial renewable energy projects, apply today or contact Parkinson Gray Associates for a confidential discussion
