Job Description

Sales Manager: are you a dynamic leader with a passion for coaching and achieving results? We are looking for a leader to inspire and guide a high-performing team of eight - 4 new business advisors and 4 sales support staff - while ensuring full compliance with FCA regulations. Previous general or commercial insurance experience is not essential but would be preferred - what is required however is sales management in a regulated environment. This is essential.

This role is working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

Key Responsibilities:

\n

Lead, Motivate & Develop: Take ownership of team performance, setting clear targets and expectations through daily briefs, visual performance tracking, and regular feedback.

  • Performance Management: Identify underperformance early and implement tailored coaching plans, including structured 1:1s, development goals, and follow-up actions to drive improvement.
  • \n
  • Quality & Compliance Oversight: Monitor QA scores, cancellations, and complaints, proactively addressing issues to maintain high standards and regulatory compliance.
  • \n
  • Operational Leadership: Manage holiday approvals, shift swaps, and absences in line with HR policies, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • \n
  • Data Accuracy & Lead Management: Ensure all client data is handled securely and accurately, with leads managed efficiently to maximise conversion opportunities.

  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Play an active role in recruitment activities, including interviews, assessment days, and onboarding to build a strong, capable team.

  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills with a track record of developing talent

  • Confidence in managing performance metrics and compliance standards
