Social Work Assistant

Key Duties:

• Undertake direct work with children, young people and families as directed by a Social Worker.
\n
• Support children and young people to attend appointments, education, health assessments and other identified activities.
\n
• Supervise family time/contact sessions and provide factual observations and recordings.
\n
• Complete welfare checks, home visits and wellbeing visits where appropriate.
\n
• Build positive and professional relationships with children, young people and their families.
\n

Requirements:

Experience of working as a Social Work Assistant

Experience of working with children, young people and families

Experience of working within a local authority
