TIG Welder / Trainee Machine Welder

Burnham-on-Crouch, Essex

Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm (40 hours per week)

We are currently recruiting for a TIG Welder / Stainless Steel Fabricator to join a specialist manufacturer producing high-quality products for the medical industry.

We are also happy to consider semi-skilled candidates with experience working with sheet metal or stainless steel who are looking to develop their skills. Full training can be provided on the company's machine welding equipment for the right individual.

Duties Include:

• TIG welding thin gauge stainless steel
\n
• Light fabrication and assembly work
\n
• Setting up components ready for welding
\n
• Operating and setting up machine welding equipment (training provided where required)
\n
• Working from engineering drawings
\n
• Inspecting finished work to ensure a high-quality finish
\n

Requirements:

\n
• Experience working with sheet metal or stainless steel is essential
\n
• TIG welding experience highly desirable
\n
• Ability to produce neat, visually appealing work
\n
• Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship
\n
• Manufacturing, fabrication or engineering workshop experience
\n

Candidates from backgrounds such as stainless steel fabrication, commercial kitchens, hospital equipment, catering equipment, furniture, cabinets or trolley manufacturing would be particularly suitable.
