Residential Property Lawyer (Associate / Senior Associate)
\nLocation: Canterbury, Kent (Hybrid Working)
\nResidential Conveyancing Lawyer Opportunity
\nAn excellent opportunity has arisen for an Associate or Senior Associate Residential Property Lawyer to join a well-established Residential Conveyancing team in Canterbury, Kent, within a leading regional law firm backed by a national legal group.
\nThis role is ideally suited to a Residential Property Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer with a following and/or strong relationships with local estate agents, who is confident generating and managing their own caseload while contributing to the organic growth of a successful team.
\nThe Role
\nYou will join a technology-driven Residential Property team that prides itself on delivering a high-quality, efficient and client-focused conveyancing service.
\nThe successful candidate will manage their own caseload from instruction to completion, handling a broad range of residential conveyancing matters, including:

- Freehold and leasehold transactions \n
- Sales and purchases \n
- Re-mortgages \n
- Transfers of equity \n
- More complex residential matters \n
- Plot sales, development work and new-build transactions (advantageous but not essential) \n
There is flexibility to be based primarily in Canterbury, with opportunity to work occasionally from a larger head office environment if desired.
\nThe Team
\nYou will be part of a residential property team of experienced legal advisers and dedicated support staff, working in a collaborative and supportive environment. The team encourages autonomy while valuing teamwork, shared knowledge and consistent client service standards.
\n\nCandidate Profile
\n- \n
- Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer \n
- Associate or Senior Associate level experience in residential conveyancing \n
- Proven ability to handle matters independently with minimal supervision \n
- Existing following and/or strong estate agent relationships highly desirable \n
- Confident in business development and client relationship management \n
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workflows \n
- Good IT literacy and experience using case-management systems \n
You should be commercially minded, client-focused and motivated to play a key role in the continued growth of the residential property practice.
