HGV Class 2 Day Driver – Haydock

£16.20 per hour | Overtime £24.30 per hour | Weekend Rate £19.44 per hour

We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 Day Drivers for a well-established operation based in Haydock.

This role involves multi-drop cage deliveries, offering regular day shifts and excellent earning potential through overtime and weekend work.

The Role

• HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving
\n
• Delivering goods using cages
\n
• Multi-drop deliveries to customer locations
\n
• Completing vehicle checks and relevant paperwork
\n
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery points
\n
• Maintaining compliance with all driving regulations and company procedures
\n

Pay Rates

\n
• £16.20 per hour (first 9 hours worked per shift)
\n
• £24.30 per hour (all hours worked after 9 hours per shift)
\n
• £19.44 per hour for weekend shifts
\n

Requirements

\n
• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
\n
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
\n
• Good understanding of driver hours and working time regulations
\n
• Previous cage work or multi-drop experience preferred
\n
• Reliable, professional, and customer-focused attitude
\n
