Intercompany Rationalisation Lead
Job Description
We are partnering with a global organisation on a high-profile, CFO-sponsored transformation programme focused on simplifying and rationalising historic intercompany balances across an international footprint supporting operations across numerous international jurisdictions.
\n\nThis is a unique opportunity to lead a strategically important initiative that sits at the intersection of Finance, Tax, Legal, Compliance and Corporate Governance. The successful individual will be responsible for driving the programme from assessment through to execution, establishing robust processes and governance frameworks to support a sustainable future-state operating model. This role would suit an experienced finance transformation, intercompany, restructuring, legal entity rationalisation or special projects leader who enjoys solving complex organisational challenges and influencing stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.
\n\nKey Responsibilities

- Lead a global intercompany transformation programme across a complex multinational group. \n
- Assess and rationalise historic intercompany balances, identifying appropriate settlement and remediation strategies. \n
- Develop and implement governance frameworks, policies and procedures for the ongoing management of intercompany balances. \n
- Coordinate activity across Finance, Tax, Legal, Compliance, Treasury, and other key stakeholder groups. \n
- Drive programme governance, reporting, planning and execution across multiple workstreams and jurisdictions. \n
- Identify and manage financial, operational, legal and tax risks associated with balance rationalisation activities. \n
- Engage senior stakeholders and executive leadership, providing regular project updates and recommendations. \n
- Establish a scalable and sustainable future-state process that reduces complexity and improves control. \n
- Support the execution of associated legal entity, restructuring or organisational simplification activities where required. \n
Skills & Qualifications

- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or international equivalent) preferred. \n
- Significant experience leading complex finance transformation, restructuring or change programmes within multinational organisations. \n
- Demonstrable experience in one or more of the following: Intercompany rationalisation and governance,Legal entity rationalisation or simplification,Finance transformation, Corporate restructuring,Treasury transformation, Shared services transformation,Group finance special projects \n
- Strong understanding of financial controls, balance sheet management and financial reporting. \n
- Experience working across multiple jurisdictions and cultures within a global environment. \n
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders across Finance, Tax, Legal, Compliance and Operational teams. \n
- Outstanding programme and project management skills, including governance, risk management and implementation. \n
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex issues and drive stakeholder alignment. \n
