Financial Controller

A brilliant and well-established agency is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead our finance function, drive financial excellence, and support the continued growth of our business.

You'll lead and develop a small finance team while overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and project accounting across multiple entities. Working closely with senior leadership, you'll provide accurate financial insight, ensure strong financial controls, and play a key role in improving systems and processes.

• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team.

• Oversee monthly management accounts, statutory accounts, audits and VAT compliance.
\n
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and financial performance reporting.
\n
• Ensure robust financial controls and an efficient month-end close.
\n
• Oversee payment processes, credit control and balance sheet reconciliations.
\n
• Support project accounting, job costing and production finance.
\n
• Drive continuous improvement across finance systems, processes and reporting.

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA or equivalent).
\n
• Proven experience in a finance leadership role.
\n
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
\n
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
\n
• Highly organised, analytical and committed to continuous improvement.
