Commercial Finance Business Partner

Adele Carr Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding business that has doubled in size for three consecutive years. With a current turnover of approximately £20 million, our client is looking for an ambitious finance professional who wants to play a key role in supporting continued growth.

This isn't a traditional finance position. They are looking for someone commercially minded who can partner with the wider business, use data to support decision-making and help drive future performance.

The Role

Working closely with senior leadership, you'll provide financial insight and analysis that supports business growth and strategic investment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Business partnering with operational and commercial teams
\n
• Producing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decisions
\n
• Developing financial models and forecasting future performance
\n
• Analysing investment opportunities and providing data-led recommendations
\n
• Identifying commercial risks while presenting practical solutions
\n
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and management reporting
\n
• Driving process improvements and operational efficiencies
\n
• Using AI and modern technology to improve reporting, analysis and productivity
\n
• Presenting financial information to non-finance stakeholders in a clear and meaningful way
\n
• Supporting the continued growth and scalability of the finance function
\n

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, evolving business and can see the bigger commercial picture.

You will ideally have:

\n
• ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified, Qualified by Experience (QBE) or be a strong Part Qualified Accountant
\n
• Previous experience within a growing or scaling business
\n
• Strong commercial awareness
\n
• Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills
\n
• Confidence challenging and influencing stakeholders
\n
• The ability to balance commercial opportunity with financial risk
\n
• A positive, solutions-focused approach
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
\n
• Strong Excel skills with experience using Power BI or similar reporting tools advantageous
\n
• An interest in AI and how emerging technology can improve finance processes
\n
