Company Accountant

KennethBrian Associates are delighted to be working with a very successful Property business based in the heart of Clapham, as they look to recruit an experienced Finance Manager to join them on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Managing Director, this is an ambitious business that has an enviable reputation in their specialist industry. This is a hands on, varied role that requires a real "all-rounder". This role could develop into a Finance Director position as the company continues is exciting journey, giving the successful candidate room to develop a successful career within this award winning business.

Key duties will involve:

• Production of monthly management accounts pack and reporting to senior leadership team
\n
• Submissions to HMRC, PAYE, VAT returns and corporation tax
\n
• Provision of reporting and analysis to aid commercial decision making and inform strategic direction of the business
\n
• Management of purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control
\n
• Processing small monthly Payroll (using Sage Payroll system)
\n
• Other ad hoc duties as required of an all-encompassing company accountant role
\n

Profile:

A successful Finance Manager should have:

\n
• A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) however we will also consider QBE accountants.
\n
• Proven experience in financial reporting and general ledger management.
\n
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
\n
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
\n
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
\n
• The ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively.
