With a collaborative culture and a commitment to continuous improvement, the organisation is investing in its people, processes and systems to drive future success.Your new roleYou will take ownership of day-to-day sales ledger activities, ensuring transactions are processed accurately and efficiently while maintaining excellent service levels for internal and external stakeholders.Working closely with the Sales Ledger Team Leader, you'll play a key role in maintaining financial controls, resolving queries and identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Manage sales ledger transactions, ensuring accurate allocation and reconciliation of receipts. \n
- Support accounts receivable processes and ensure payments are processed in line with customer agreements. \n
- Investigate and resolve account discrepancies and outstanding issues. \n
- Act as a key point of contact for customer and stakeholder queries. \n
- Maintain accurate financial records and data across finance systems. \n
- Assist with month-end activities and reporting requirements. \n
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function. \n
- Provide cover and deputise for the Team Leader when required. \n
- Build strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across the organisation. \n
What you'll need to succeed
\n- \n
- Previous experience within a Sales Ledger or Accounts Receivable environment. \n
- Experience processing high volumes of financial transactions accurately. \n
- Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills. \n
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities. \n
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. \n
- Experience using computerised accounting systems. \n
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to manage stakeholder queries by phone, email and virtual meetings. \n
- Experience using databases and maintaining accurate financial records. \n
- AAT qualified, studying towards AAT, or willing to work towards an accounting qualification would be advantageous. \n
