HGV Class 2 Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in Bristol area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers to join the team on nights.

Shifts:

\n
• HGV Class 2 Nights - Across Monday to Sunday (weekend availability is required)
\n
• HGV Class 2 Days - Across Monday to Sunday (weekend availability is required)
\n

Pay Rate:

\n
• Class 2 Nights - £17.59 per hour PAYE
\n
• Class 2 Days - £15.90 per hour PAYE
\n

Location: Bristol, BS35

Job Type: Ongoing with opportunity for perm

The role:

\n
• Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.
\n
• Handling runs with 4-5 stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
\n
• Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.
\n
• Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
\n

Requirements:

\n
• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
\n
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
\n
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
\n
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
\n
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
\n
• Excellent communication skills.
\n
• A safety-first mindset.
\n
