Accountant - Music Industry

Are you an ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified accountant?

Do you have experience of accounting for live events and festivals?

Our client - a fast growing company in the music industry, would like to recruit an experienced accountant to oversee day-to-day accounting and compliance for a range of music festivals, concerts and live events.

Working closely with promoters and other stakeholders, you will be responsible for:

-Cash flow forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis for events

-Day-to-day accounting, including overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable

-Show accounting, expense claims, cash floats and settlements

-Preparing quarterly VAT returns

-Preparing monthly/quarterly management accounts

-Preparing statutory accounts

To be considered for this position, you must:

-Have at least 5 years accounting experience in the UK

-Be ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified, or close to qualifying

-Have music industry experience

-Communicate well
