Warehouse Operative

We are currently recruiting for a Goods In Warehouse Operative to join a busy and fast-paced warehouse team. This is a key role responsible for the receipt, inspection, and accurate processing of inbound goods to ensure stock is handled efficiently and meets company standards.

This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse, logistics, or goods-in experience who is looking to develop within a growing organisation.

Warehouse Operative responsibilities:

• Receiving and booking in deliveries using warehouse systems
\n
• Unloading goods safely and efficiently (manual handling required)
\n
• Checking deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes
\n
• Inspecting goods for damage, discrepancies, or quality issues
\n
• Accurately labelling and storing stock in designated locations
\n
• Updating stock systems and maintaining accurate inventory records
\n
• Working closely with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations
\n
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
\n
• Following all health & safety procedures at all times
\n

Skills & experience required:

\n
• Previous experience as a warehouse operative / goods in / inbound operative (preferred but not essential)
\n
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
\n
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
\n
• Basic IT or warehouse management system knowledge
\n
• Strong team player with a positive attitude
\n
• Physically fit and able to handle manual work
\n
• Forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
