The Engineering Planner & Administrator provides multi-functional planning of tasks, manpower and materials for routine engineering maintenance, minor projects and shutdown activities.

  • Develop and maintain detailed maintenance schedules to support operational needs.
  • \n
  • Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure timely execution of planned tasks.
  • \n
  • Monitor and track maintenance activities to ensure adherence to schedules.
  • \n
  • Update and manage the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • \n
  • Liaise with procurement to ensure timely availability of required parts and materials.
  • \n
  • Analyse and report on maintenance performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • \n
  • Assist in planning and coordinating shutdowns or major maintenance projects.
  • \n
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all planning activities.
  • \n

Profile

A successful Engineering Planner should have:

  • Proven experience in planning within the industrial or manufacturing industry.
  • \n
  • Strong understanding of engineering and maintenance processes.
  • \n
  • Proficiency in using CMMS and other planning tools.
  • \n
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • \n
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • \n
  • A problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
