\nSalary: £36,000 Basic | £41,000 OTE + Paid Overtime
\nHours: Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:30pm | No Weekends
\nRichard Abson Group are currently supporting a well-established main dealership in Llandudno in their search for an experienced Workshop Controller.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity to join a busy, high-performing dealership where you will play a pivotal role in driving workshop efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Offering a genuine Monday to Friday role with absolutely no weekend working, this position provides an excellent work-life balance alongside a rewarding bonus structure.
The Role\nAs Workshop Controller, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the workshop on a day-to-day basis. You will allocate work effectively, manage technician workflow, and ensure all repairs and servicing are completed to the highest standard and within agreed timescales.
\nYou will oversee a team of 12 Technicians and work closely with 3 Service Advisors to ensure excellent communication, efficient workflow management, and a consistently high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Plan and manage the daily workload of Technicians to maximise efficiency. \n
- Ensure all servicing and repair work is completed accurately and on time. \n
- Support Service Advisors with technical input and customer updates. \n
- Monitor workshop productivity, performance, and efficiency targets. \n
- Accurately record Technician hours and workshop activity. \n
- Produce technical reports and support repair recommendations. \n
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction. \n

- Basic Salary: £36,000 \n
- On-Target Earnings: £41,000 \n
- OTE is earned through workshop productivity and customer satisfaction performance. \n
- Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:30pm \n
- No weekend working – enjoy every weekend off. \n
- Paid overtime available. \n
- \n
- Previous experience as a Workshop Controller, Senior Technician, or Workshop Supervisor. \n
- Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills. \n
- Experience within a main dealership environment is highly desirable. \n
- Ability to manage a fast-paced workshop and motivate a team. \n
- Strong focus on efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. \n
