Job Description
Our client a leading investment firm in Central London is looking for a Communications Assistant to join their communications team on a hybrid working basis.
\nAs Communications Assistant you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of engaging and consistent communications across the firm both internally and externally (US & Europe).
\nThis is a hands-on role suited to a strong writer with excellent judgement, an interest in the investment industry and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, professional environment.
\n\nReporting to the Communications Associate, key reponsibilities as Communications Assistant include:
\nContent & Editorial
\n- \n
- Draft, edit and proofread written content for internal communications channels, including newsletters, intranet updates, digital signage and other platforms \n
- Produce and maintain content for external platforms, including corporate websites and social media channels \n
- Support the development of consistent tone, messaging and style across all communications materials \n
- Assist with content planning and editorial calendars \n
Events & Executive Support
\n- \n
- Support the organisation and delivery of internal and external events, receptions and conferences \n
- Support, by assisting the Communications team with research, in the drafting of briefings, speeches, talking points and scripts for senior executives \n
- Prepare background notes, briefing packs and Q&A documents for events and meetings \n
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure communications elements are delivered on time \n
Coordination & Administration
\n- \n
- Assist with approvals processes, version control and document management \n
- Maintain communications archives and content libraries \n
- Monitor media, social media and internal channels for relevant coverage or updates, as required \n
- Provide general administrative support to the communications function \n
Candidate Profile
\n- \n
- Previous experience in communications, public affairs, journalism or a related field useful \n
- An interest interest in financial services, investment firms or professional services \n
- Interest in corporate storytelling and brand management \n
- Confidence in working with senior stakeholders \n
- University Degree education would be preferred \n
