\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys providing essential support to legal professionals and clients.
\nThe Role
\nAs a Legal Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the Crime team with a variety of administrative duties, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the department.
\nKey responsibilities will include:

- Providing comprehensive administrative support to solicitors and fee earners \n
- Preparing, formatting and amending legal documents and correspondence \n
- Managing client files, both electronically and in hard copy \n
- Opening new client matters and undertaking compliance checks \n
- Handling incoming calls and enquiries professionally and efficiently \n
- Maintaining accurate records and case management systems \n
- Scheduling appointments, meetings and court-related arrangements \n
- Managing incoming and outgoing post \n
- Assisting with billing and file closing procedures \n
- Supporting the wider team with ad hoc administrative tasks \n
About You
\nThe successful candidate will have:
\n- \n
- Previous administration experience, ideally within a legal or professional services environment \n
- Excellent organisational and time management skills \n
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy \n
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal \n
- Confidence using Microsoft Office applications and database systems \n
- The ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively \n
- A professional and client-focused approach \n
- The ability to handle confidential information with discretion \n
Previous experience in a legal setting or an interest in criminal law would be advantageous but is not essential.
