Senior Pricing Coordinator

Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Senior Pricing Coordinator for a busy well-established Freight company based in the Egham, Surrey area.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive customer quotations and tender responses within agreed service levels.
\n
• Source, obtain, and negotiate freight rates with carriers, shipping lines, airlines, hauliers, and logistics partners.
\n
• Maintain and update pricing databases, carrier tariffs, and rate sheets.
\n
• Support the Sales team by providing commercial pricing analysis and tailored freight solutions.
\n
• Monitor freight market trends, capacity changes, and competitor pricing to maintain market competitiveness.
\n
• Ensure all quotations achieve target profit margins while remaining commercially attractive.
\n
• Verify pricing accuracy, including freight rates, surcharges, customs fees, and ancillary charges.
\n
• Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and suppliers to secure favourable commercial terms.
\n
• Collaborate with Operations and Customer Service teams to ensure pricing reflects operational capabilities and service commitments.
\n
• Responsible for two other team members, maintaining work flow and ensuring that all quotes are actioned efficiently.
\n
• Being the main point of contact on the pricing side.
\n
• Review monthly figures and share with the team.
\n

Requirements

\n
• Previous experience in freight forwarding, logistics, transport, or supply chain pricing.
\n
• Strong knowledge of air freight, ocean freight, and road freight pricing structures.
\n
• Good understanding of freight surcharges, trade lanes, Incoterms, and carrier tariffs.
\n
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail.
\n
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and freight pricing or transport management systems.
\n
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
\n
• Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple quotations and deadlines.
\n
