Juice Recruitment is delighted to be working in partnership with a well-established lettings and property management business based in Bristol, with the appointment of an Accountant to join their growing team.
\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-focused and proactive finance professional to join a busy and fast-moving property environment. The role is hands-on and varied, supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business.
\nThis position offers genuine long-term progression, with the successful candidate gradually taking on increased responsibility and moving towards ownership of the internal finance function.
Key Responsibilities\n\n• Processing and reconciling rental income, landlord payments, tenant transactions, and supplier invoices
\n• Carrying out regular bank and client account reconciliations
\n• Processing supplier invoices and ensuring timely payments
\n• Supporting credit control activity, including monitoring arrears and chasing overdue payments
\n• Preparing and issuing service charge demands
\n• Supporting the preparation of service charge budgets and year-end accounts
\n• Assisting with monthly management accounts and wider financial reporting
\n• Monitoring cashflow, income collection, and financial reporting accuracy
\n• Working closely with lettings and property management teams to resolve finance-related queries
\n• Ensuring compliance with client money handling regulations and property accounting processes
\n• Maintaining accurate financial records, ledgers, and supporting documentation
\n• Taking increasing responsibility for internal finance processes as the role develops
\n About You\n\nWe are keen to speak with candidates who are accurate, hands-on, and keen to develop within a growing property business.
\n• Previous experience in an accounting, bookkeeping or finance role (property sector experience highly desirable)
\n• Part-qualified (AAT, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience
\n• Strong experience with bank reconciliations, purchase ledger and financial processing
\n• Competent with Excel and accounting systems such as Xero, Sage or similar
\n• Strong numeracy skills with excellent attention to detail
\n• Confident communication skills with the ability to work across non-finance teams
\n• Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities
\n• Comfortable working independently as well as part of a wider team
\n What’s on Offer\n\n• Salary £30,000 – £35,000 depending on experience
\n• Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm (flexibility considered)
